The journey
My journey towards becoming an osteopath could be said to have started in India. I went travelling in 1995 and visited many beautiful places like the Himalayas and the wonderful beaches. However, travelling in India is not easy, with 12 hour journeys on rickety buses and carrying large backpacks. Also, Indian culture demands more of the body in terms of stretching, squatting, sitting on the floor, and I quickly realised that my body wasn’t up to it. I became very ill, and had to stop travelling, rest up and work out how to get better. It was then that I became interested in learning how to help the body help itself to become healthy.
